Chapter Nine of Pax Americana: The Military Industrial Complex and the War On Terror by Danny Quintana

What really happened to the hijackers?

The sweat ceremony is a Native American religious ritual common to most tribes in North and South America. This is the oldest continuous
spiritual activity on Earth. Scientists have carbon dated the sweat lodge at least 4,000 years. Sweat ceremonies are the spiritual practices of
Native American tribes. I learned first hand about this important and complex religious ritual when I represented some Native American
inmates at the Utah State Prison in 1986. They wanted to practice their religion in prison.. I have been practicing this important spiritual ritual
ever since and will continue to do so as long as I live. There is little question in my mind that Al Qaeda would kill everyone on the planet if they
had the opportunity. Like the barbarians who destroyed Rome but did not care or understand the consequences, Al Qaeda would kill all who
do not share their perverted facsist view of Islam. But this message has to be out there as many innocent people are killing themselves in
violation of Allah’s laws and the sacred Koran’s prohibitions on suicide.

If questioned properly, reliable information would come forward and the vicious Saddam régime would be defeated. Good interrogation
brings about reliable information. Torture and terror result in people telling you what you want to hear to stop the pain of illegal activity.
Confessions and information obtained under torture is never reliable. This is exactly why confessions or information obtained under duress is
not allowed in courts of civilized societies. In barbarian states or during the Middle Ages, torture and inquisitions were standard practice.
But where people live under the rule of law and not under the rule of political and religious elites, torture and terror are not proper methods
for interrogating individuals.
Having been to Afghanistan and taught wheelchair tennis at the stadium where the Taliban and Al Qaeda murdered people, and having been
to New York many times, I always wondered what happened to the September 11th hijackers? That is why I went into the sweat lodge on the
5th anniversary of this horrific terror event. I went into the sweat lodge to talk with the hijackers about their journey and why
they would commit such horrible crimes.
Unfortunately I got my answer. This was the most gruesome sight I have ever seen in my entire 50 years on Earth. I saw human skulls with
twisted grotesque burnt flesh surrounded by very hot rocks and coals that were still glowing. The individuals were still alive. They could not
speak, move or see. But they were still in what remained of their now completed deformed and twisted, burnt bodies. They appeared to be in
agonizing pain. They were horrified and terrified. I was watching. They could not communicate with me. I looked at them in pity.
The sweat lodge is shaped like a womb, the womb of Mother Earth. With some tribes the
entrance is facing east. With others it is facing west. There are four rounds for the four
directions of the wind and the four races of mankind. After you enter, you place hot rocks
in the center of the lodge before each round. After the rocks are placed in the center of
the lodge in a hole for that purpose, the entrance is closed. It is pitch black in the lodge.
Tobacco or sage is sprinkled on the rocks and beautiful sparks come out. Then water is
poured on the hot volcanic rocks. The steam goes right through your body.
As the Native American spiritual guide is singing ancient songs several thousand years
old, and beating on his drum, you do what you are supposed to do. Think and pray. You
will never be able to do any clearer thinking in your whole entire life then in the sweat
lodge. Whatever problem you face, an answer will be given.
My spiritual advisor, who is part Sioux also saw the hijackers. “They have gone to a place where there is no water for all of eternity.” The
passengers only suffered briefly. “Their grief did not last very long”. Two of the hijackers were quite terrified and had some deep reservations
about killing these innocent people. According to my spiritual advisor, “the fact that the hijackers believe what they did was right does not
escape the fact that they have to face the consequences of their actions”.
We can believe whatever we want. I live in a Mormon community where people have been taught from the time they are born that Joseph
Smith talked to the angel Moroni. I live with religious extremists who believe that they will become equal to Allah when they die. Mormon
women are not considered the equal of men and can never have this imaginary “priesthood”. The men believe they can have many wives in
their own private heaven when they die. Native Americans are alleged to be members of the lost tribes of Israel. Their skin color was cursed
by Allah and blacks have the “mark of Cain”. Men will become equal to Allah when they die and a God in their own private heaven with as
many wives as they would like. There is no God but Allah and Mohammad is his messenger, (peace be upon him).
When I was in the sweat lodge I did not ask to speak to Mohammad, (peace be unto him). I am not fit to clean his sandals, much less bother
him in paradise. One cannot bother the greatest human who ever lived, even for something as important as the fate of suicide bombers and
the difficult path ahead for mankind. And under no circumstances will I ever talk with Jesus in the sweat lodge. He is the son of God. He has
already given us his message. Love each other, do charity and forgive each other for our transgressions.
I pray for the September 11th suicide killers. I pray for all of the individuals who are lied to and carry out their actions in the name of religion,
especially Islam, the religion of peace on Earth. Whether it is the Mountain Meadow Massacre, Wounded Knee or the World Trade Center or
a market in Iraq, what I saw was that killing innocent people in the name of Allah will result in an after life where there is no water for
all of eternity. I am not Allah and refuse to give a name to this place. I can only tell you what I saw and what my spiritual advisor explained to
me that he saw.
To those of you who would commit suicide to achieve martyrdom, you are being lied to. Just like young Mormon men and women are lied to
when they are told that Native Americans are members of lost tribes of Israel and their skin color was cursed by Allah. You are being lied to
about going to paradise if you kill in the name of Islam. I saw where the September 11th suicide killers went and it is not paradise. There is
only intense pain, heat, suffering and no water for all of eternity.
I also saw in the sweat lodge very clearly that the sacred Koran demands, women are to be respected. They are not property and to claim
that there will be 72 virgins waiting in paradise if you commit suicide in the name of Islam is blasphemy. Women are the equal of men and to
view them as objects of sex and pleasure is evil.
I saw that you have to accept responsibility for your actions. In this life or the next, there are consequences for your behaviors. If you commit
suicide and kill innocent people in the name of Islam, you will share the fate of the September 11th hijackers. For men to believe they will
become equal to Allah when they die in their own private heaven with numerous wives is blasphemy as is the fate of young men and women
who commit suicide in the name of Islam. Peace be upon you.

the sweat lodge. You can talk to the spirits on the other side. But understand, it is very
dangerous and should only do it if it is a matter of life and death. It should be so important
that there is no other possible alternative but to talk to the spirit world. It is extremely
dangerous to wake the dead. For the dead do not like to be bothered by the trials and
tribulations of pitiful men in their times of weakness.
When Al Jazeeria called me regarding one of my clients, I was curious, why? My client was
an interrogator at Abu Graib and refused to abuse inmates and testified against the other
interrogators. They threatened to kill him so he left Iraq. He demanded that interrogations
be conducted professionally and the interrogated be treated with respect and dignity.
