Book Publicity from Irwin Zucker's Promotion in Motion
Book promotion and book publicity combined with getting
exposure for informed and fascinating published authors is
what
Irwin Zucker has been doing for over five decades.
The first book he promoted was by Norman Vincent Peale,
and since then he has garnered publicity for books by
such luminaries and celebrities as Steve Allen, Conrad
Hilton, Dr. Earl Mindell, Jacqueline Susann,
Veronica Lake and Zsa Zsa Gabor.

His own books about Ronald Reagan,
Re-run With Ronnie
and Ronnie Runs Wild, are fun cartoon books that
can still acquired on the Internet.  Irwin is now promoting
books from a wide range of genres and top-notch authors,
from health to biograph and self-help to mental health;
from diet to design and on to relationships and politics.
The Grief Club by Melody Beattie
Introduction by Dr. John Finnegan N.D.
Illustrations by Annie Waterhouse

"I contracted Hepatitis C in 1979 from 4 blood transfusions. A
liver biopsy in 1994 revealed Chronic Hepatitis C. After Cancer,
Radiation Therapy, Chemotherapy and now Hep C, my liver
was in bad shape. The medical establishment advised me
to get my papers in order and expect to live another
3 to 5 years, and hope that something would
come along to help.

"Over 6 years later I have been Hepatitis C Free for
over 7 years, no detectable virus.
Triumph Over Hepatitis C
is a graphic, turbo charged saga, depicting actual events in my
life as I struggled with the menace, Hep C.

"The Remedy, The Option of Alternative Medicine that saved my
life. Now with illustrations, dosage information and extended
commentary by medical doctors and Ph.Ds."

After author Melody Beattie's son died, she found herself
welcomed into new "club," a circle of people who had lived
through the tragic loss of a child. This was not the first club in
which she unwittingly found herself. Years earlier she found
herself in Twelve Step groups, first balking, then later
embracing the healing principles that she now credits with
saving her life. But life, Ms. Beattie writes, is all about change.
Not only do loved ones die, but once successful careers can
careen out of control and debilitating diseases can rob you of
future plans. Smaller losses can take a toll as well.

The natural process of aging leaves many people with a
depleted sense of worth, and staying abreast with current
technologies leaves many people feeling
ill-informed and inadequate.

She writes, "There's a secret to get through loss, pain and
grief. If we're alone we can't see who we are. When we join
the club, other people become the mirror. Through them, we
see ourselves and gain an understanding of what we're going
through. Then slowly, real slowly, we learn to accept who we
see in the mirror. Then you become the mirror for them; by
being honest about who you are, you'll help them learn
to love and accept themselves."
