In The Broderbond Conspiracy, Chika Onyeani brought into existence a
secret agent worthy of being called a black James Bond. Chima Amadi of
the Nigerian Secret Service has all the qualities, both good and bad, which
inhabit someone who finds themselves in the world of deception, power
politics, national survival and economic competition on a grand scale.
Now we are giving the public a chance to pick which actor might be best
suited to bring Chima Amadi to the big screen.

Will Smith is one of the top box office draws in show business today.
His clean cut image and reputation for thorough preparation, both
physically and mentally, put him in an elite group of bankable stars.
Having appeared in such major motion pictures as Ali, I Robot, Men
in Black, The Pursuit of Happiness, I am Legend, two-time Best
Actor Academy Award nominee Will Smith has proven to be one of
the most popular black actors in the world. His incredible Best Actor
nominee performance in Ali, playing the legendary boxer Muhammad
Ali, brought him the respect accorded to someone who has honed
acting skills over the years.
With proven comedy skills, Will Smith also brings a light hearted
touch to tension packed roles, such as that of a secret agent involved
in serious international affairs. Known for preparing intensely for his
roles, Smith would undoubtedly prove an excellent Chima Amadi,
the main character in The Broederbond Conspiracy.

Jamie Foxx has gone from largely comedic roles to a Best Actor Academy Award winner for
his performance in Ray, the biopic about Ray Charles. He was also in Collateral with Tom
Cruise, directed by Michael Mann, The Kingdom, Miami Vice and the hit Dreamgirls. His
wide range of roles, involving both comedy and drama, puts him in an ideal position to bring the
Black James Bond to the big screen.
The ranks of dramatic black actors, who are also highly
bankable, is led by two time Best Actor Academy Award
winner Denzel Washington is one of the best. His
range of skills showcased in hits like American
Gangster, Training Day (Best Actor) and The
Hurricane, for which he also won the Best Actor Oscar.
Denzel Washington is very committed to acting and
would do justice to a role of Chima Amadi created by
Chika Onyeani in the book which brings a new hero to
the realm spy thrillers, The Broederbond Conspiracy.
Chiwetel Ejiofor is classically trained British actor, of
Nigerian descent, who is famous for stealing the show
in the London production of Shakespeare's Othello,
eclipsing Ewan McGregor in rave reviews. Nominated
for two Golden Globes, Chiwetel has been in Children
of Men, The Insider and the 2007 hit American
Gangster. He is rising star in Hollywood with a wide
ranging acting style that sets him up to be a fantastic
Chima Amadi, a man with enemies everywhere.
Lawrence Fishburne's is one of the most versatile and accomplished dramatic actors in the
business. A veteran actor whose big break came in the classic Vietnam war movie, Apocalypse
Now, Fishburne's credits include the huopular Matrix seres, Mission Impossible III and Mystic
River. Having appeared in almost 80 movie, Lawrence Fishburne has the ability to transform
himself into the ruthless and sophisticated Chima Amadi.
When one talks about an actor who has the ability to bring emotion and, very often, a sense of fun
to his roles, then the names of Samuel L. Jackson comes to mind. Jackson has been in hit
movies like S.W.A.T., with Colin Farrell, Jurassic Park, Pulp Fiction and Die Hard with a
Vengence.
Samuel L. Jackson carefully prepares for his roles and brings all of his numerous skills to the set
every day, whether it is in a comedy like Loaded Weapon or action movies such as Snakes on
Plane and S.W.A.T. or the intense psychological drama The Negotiator. Jackson would
undoubtedly inject a tremendous amount of intensity playing Chima Amadi in The Broederbond
Conspiracy.
Wesley Snipes has been in all types of roles over a
career that boasts such films as U.S. Marshals with
Tommy Lee Jones, the Blade series, Rising Sun
and White Men Can't Jump with Woody Harrelson
With accomplished action skills, his physical abilities
make him well suited to play such a fascinating role as
the newly created spy from Nigeria.
The physically imposing
and very smooth Colin
Salmon, who appeared
in three Bond films as M's
Chief of Staff, Charles
Robinson, has long been
seen as a natural for the
role of James Bond. His
three appearances with
Pierce Brosnan in Bond
movies Die Another Day,
The World Is Not Enough
and Tomorrow Never
Dies garnered him the
nod from Brosnan to
replace him as 007.
Colin Salmon, one of Britain's most popular actors who found accolades in the mini-series
Prime Suspects 2 (1992), has the physical stature, polish and style to explode on the
silver screen in the persona of Chima Amadi in The Broderbond Conspiracy. The main
character in Chika Onyean's is complex and conflicted as well as ruthless and dedicated.

David Oyelowo is one of the rising stars amongst British
actors. Of Nigerian descent, he graduated from the London
Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 1998. He first
impressed audiences in The Suppliants at the Gate
Theatre playing King Palasgus, garnering him the Ian
Charleson award commendation. Then Oyelowo, the first
black actor to play an English king for the Royal
Shakespeare Company, played the title role Henry VI.
Oyelowo was in the highly acclaimed BBC series
Spooks/MI-5, which won a British Academy of Film and
Television Arts (BAFTA) Award and continues to be a
favorite for audiences worldwide. He appeared in The Last
King of Scotland, a movie about the Ugandan dictator Idi
Amin, with Forrest Whittaker and James MacAvoy.
Whittaker garnered the Best Actor Oscar for his amazing
performance.
David Oyelowo, who will be seen in the classic A Raisin in
the Sun with Sanaa Lathan and Sean Combs on U.S. TV
in early 2008, has to be considered a strong candidate for the
role of Chima Amadi. He has all the skills and credentials to
pull off the role with style, intensity, physical prowess and the
ability to add a Shakespearean quality.
Idris Elba, a fine British actor who recently appeared in American Gangster and starred
n the 2002 HBO cop drama, The Wire. With over 40 movie and TV roles under his belt,
Elba brings an imposing physical presence and the wide ranging acting skills.
After success in Britain, in both dramas and sitcoms, that focused mainly on supporting
roles, Elba grew frustrated and went the U.S. in search of leading roles. After two years of
bouncing around, his luck changed with a supporting role on the highly successful series
Law and Order, which in turn led to the HBO starring role. Idris Elba has more than
enough talent , screen persona, physical presence to do justice to the complex, conflicted
and committed personality of Chima Amadi.
One senses in Fishburne's work a real dedication to his craft
that goes beyond the norm. He brings intensity, dedication
and professionalism to his craft and would thrive in the role of
Chima Amadi in The Broederbond Conspiracy.
A native of Texas, Jamie Foxx's life changed when a girl
friend challenged him to get on stage at a Comedy Club. His
comedy led him to getting hired on In Living Color and Roc.
His mix of skills are a good fit this role.
