A native of Cuba, Louisa Moritz came to the United States and
lived the American dream of a foreigner by finding success first
in show business and now as an attorney practicing in Southern
California.

She arrived in the United States from Cuba with the rather
infamous last name of Castro, however, upon seeing the
St.
Moritz
hotel in New York City, Louisa decided that was the
name for her.  Louisa established herself in the entertainment
business as a performer in movies, on television shows and in
the theatre.  She has appeared in numerous movies, including
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and been on The Tonight
Show
with Jay Leno, during which she sang a song written
exclusively for Jay.

A veteran performer, Louisa has appeared in films with such
stars as
Sylvester Stallone, George Hamilton, Chevy Chase
and the hilarious comedy team
Cheech & Chong in Up in
Smoke
.  Her television credits include starring roles with Joan
Collins in the
The Cartier Affair, The Associates with Emmy
Award winning actor John Ritter, T
he Rockford Files with James
Garner and numerous appearances on such shows as
Laugh-In, The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson as well as
Jay Leno and The Merv Griffin Show.
