Heavenly Paws: A Beloved Dog is Reborn
Lynda J. Austin
Lynda Austin has created a book that is about infinite possibilites.  Heavenly
Paws is a personal journey toward well being, one that answers three of the
most asked questions.

Her hope is that
Heavenly Paws opens the minds of dog lovers, but also
that the message encourages people to seek the truth rather than blindly
accepting traditional
Dogma.

This is a moving book about love, devotion, care commitment, loss and the
renewal of life.   Lynda Austin believes that people need to emulate their
dogs, as they know all
about love and devotion.  The love a dog has for it's human
is like the love we will one day have in the Afterlife.
Heavenly Paws centers on her dog Max, a miniature Schnauzer, and his companion
Melody.  Throughout the book she relates a host of touching and moving stories
about the dogs and, more importantly, what they taught her.  The first chapter sets
the scene for the series of funny incidents involving two
very special animals.

"The stories in this book are memories of my champion pets.  They are simple
memories, but they are significant because of their simplicity.  My dogs have not
only been a source of unconditional love, but also a source of wisdom.  I believe
animals were put here on Earth for mankind to learn from.  Dogs function by
instinct and they have outstanding qualities.  Dog's endearing qualities of
unconditional love, trust and forgiveness are qualities most of mankind needs to
strive for."
"One evening my telephone rang and it was my breeder calling. She had just received a strange
telephone call from a gentleman asking her unusual question.  He asked if she was located close to a
particular town, if she had two liters of puppies, if another litter of six puppies had been born that
morning, if another litter had been born that day, and if the first puppy born that day had been a
female.

"All of his information was accurate and my breeder wondered how he could know those facts. The
caller had explained that a psychic had given him the information and was looking for his Aunt's dog
that had reincarnated. He told the breeder that the first dog that day was female and was his Aunt's
reincarnated dog."
Memorable Moments With Maxwell
"A couple of weeks before first Christmas, my husband and I decided to go out and do
a little Christmas shopping.  Our Christmas tree was up, and I helped put several gifts
that we received around the tree

"Max was still a puppy, and we had him only three weeks.  I put him in the kitchen
and blocked the entrance into our dining room with a box, foolishly thinking that this
would deter him.  He sat in the kitchen, watching us leave, and I could visualize
a halo over his head.  We left for our brief shopping trip.

"When we returned, we entered the house to find Max unwrapping the last gift under
the tree.  There were Christmas wrappings from one end of the room to the other, with
out gifts in various states of disarray.  My immediate thought was to thank God that
Max hadn’t pulled over the tree and hurt himself or eaten ornaments.
"I saw pure joy on Maxwell’s face and thought, this is Christmas innocence and joy.
I enjoyed his pure delight as much as he did and found his antics great entertainment.
We wrapped his gifts and put them back, knowing Max could unwrap them
again on Christmas day.

"I found as much joy in his antics as Max had in carrying them out.  Our animal friends
make the most out of each moment.  They don’t worry about yesterday or tomorrow.
Max didn’t care what was inside the boxes or how much it cost.  I always strived for
the ability find the bliss my dogs do each moment of the day."

Max In Pre-House Training Mode
The picture to the right
shows Max taking care of
business on Lynda's
couch.  At just 12 weeks
old he was still an
untrained puppy who
thought this act might get
him the usual "Good Boy,"
like it happened outside.
But that was not the case
and Lynda was ready to
ship him back the breeder.
Having gone from a mature dog to a male puppy had Lynda thinking
she had made a big mistake, but her mother convinced her that Max
just did not know any better and would learn.  She was right and by
Christmas he was house trained and ready to show his next trick,
which is chronicled below.
Lynda loved her dog Max and was heartbroken when both
Max and Melody passed on to Heaven.  Before getting into
the life with her dogs, Lynda describes the events leading
to the realization that her beautiful dog Max was coming
back to her in the form of a new loving black puppy with a
white vertical stripe down its chest.  Warned of the
impending event by her highly intuitive psychic, she
verified what was predicted by quizzing the breeder
on the litter about to be delivered.

Lynda felt the Universe and her departed loved ones were
"showing me love and support by sending my beloved dog
back."  When she encountered the puppy she felt
was Max, Lynda affirmed her feelings by giving the tiny
puppy Max's favorite toy lamb.
Every summer Lynda and her husband would visit his
parents in Maine.  During one stop at the Portland Airport
a Lincoln Continental was parked inside the fence.  After
inquiring with the rental company, they learned it
belonged to former President George Bush who would
soon be landing at the airport.

Lynda describes what happened next:
"While waiting for my husband, I walked Max and
Melody.  I was enjoying the fresh air and looking
around, when I turned back to the dogs, there was Max
lifting his leg on the tires of President Bush's car.  Max
seemed quite pleased with himself, and I thought
perhaps Max was making a political statement."
Max finds former President Bush's
car a convenient place to make
a political statement.
"This book tackles the tough questions that all dog lovers ponder with warmth
and sensitivity  Lynda Austin makes a compelling case for communication with our
dogs in the Afterlife, as well as her dog's reincarnation.  This is a book about the
bliss we find in our dogs and the never ending love that is a continuous cycle.  It's
bound to become a very popular item with pet-lovers over the years."

Lynda Austin's Gives Tips on How to be A Champion Pet
The Champion Pets Max and Melody
The reaction was immediate and Lynda's psychic confirmed her feelings by telling her she had chosen
the correct puppy and that "her loved ones were smiling and applauding."

Four weeks later Lynda visited the puppy and the recognition was immediate as she describes.  "He
heard my voice was standing on his hind legs trying to escape the whelping box while his litter mates
slept.  I picked him up and he cried, lavishing me with kisses. I couldn't help but cry with him."  The new
Max would be called Jacob.

But weeks before that, the breeder had received a phone call, described below, that surprised her but
only reaffirmed what Lynda Austin already knew all too well.
